not for everyone (and why that matters)

not for everyone (and why that matters)

not for everyone is a boundary

we didn’t build bad lion to be liked by everyone.

that wasn’t a branding decision. it was a survival one.

most things today are designed to offend no one.

which usually means they don’t move anyone either.

when something tries to belong everywhere, it ends up meaning nothing.

it becomes neutral. smooth. disposable.

that’s not what we’re interested in.

bad lion is built for people who still notice how things feel.

people who trust their gut more than a star rating.

people who don’t need permission to like what they like.

clarity creates connection

this isn’t exclusion for the sake of ego.

it’s clarity.

when we say “not for everyone,” we’re not saying you’re wrong if it doesn’t land.

we’re saying you don’t need to pretend it does.

if something we make hits you, good.

that means it’s yours now.

and if it doesn’t?

also good.

not everything should try to win you over.

some things should just exist honestly and let you decide.

that’s how connection works.

it’s mutual. not forced.
